Deschutes Recycling & Knott Landfill Closed on Thanksgiving
Deschutes Recycling and Knott Landfill will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will re-open on Friday, November 27th at 7:00 a.m.

January 1, 2010 - New E-Waste Disposal Law
Effective January 1, 2010 - computers, monitors, and TVs are banned from disposal in the garbage or at disposal sites such as landfills and transfer stations.
Deschutes Recycling accepts computers (desktops and laptops), monitors and TVs and will recycle them for free. All other computer peripherals such as keyboards, mice and other electronic items and appliances can be recycled for a fee.
