Free Yard Debris Recycling

Residents can recycle yard debris for free during the FireFree event. Yard debris must be clean; no rocks, dirt, garbage or plastic bags.

Deschutes Recycling will be Closed on Presidents' Day

Deschutes Recycling will be closed on Monday, February 20, 2017 for Presidents' Day and will reopen Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at 7:00 a.m. Deschutes Recycling will also be closed Sunday, February 19, 2017 (currently closed on Sundays).

Deschutes Recycling Closed Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Deschutes Recycling and all Deschutes County Transfer Stations will be closed Monday, January 16, 2017 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.  The facilities will re-open on Tuesday, January 17 at 7:00 a.m.

Christmas Tree Recycling

January 3 - 31, 2017, Deschutes Recycling will be accepting Christmas trees at no charge.

Deschutes Recycling is operating on their winter schedule, Monday - Saturday, 7:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Some of the local Boy Scout troops will be collecting Christmas trees for recycling in your community the weekends of December 31 & January 1 and January 7 & 8. They are asking for a tax deductible $5-$10 donation.

The Organics Booth at Deschutes Recycling is closed for the winter.
